My Journey to a Whole New Piggi

The other day I read this quote:

If you want to succeed in your life, remember this phrase: That past does not equal the future. Because you failed yesterday; or all day today; or a moment ago; or for the last six months; the last sixteen years; or the last fifty years of life, doesn’t mean anything… All that matters is: What are you going to do, right now?
                                                                                                    --Anthony Robbins

This quote really resonated within me. I started asking myself, I can't keep thinking of my mistakes from the past. I now will have to think, what am I going to do today? Tomorrow? Hence, I should look forward and start anew.

For me to decide a lifestyle change, it will be hard. I have to convince myself, it will definitely not be easy. Life was never easy. I have to persevere. This will definitely be a challenge since I was never one to go through something to the end for a lifetime. However, to think positively, I will have to start taking baby steps.

I want to start with my physical health. Weight has always been an issue with me. My weight has always been a yo-yo and I was discouraged as my weight steadily went back up. Now, for a change, let's focus on physical activity and cutting back the portion of what I eat so far. Let's see how it goes....
